Barbara J. Paduch is the Manager of Corporate Finance for Tikigaq Corporation.  She is responsible for forecasting the Company’s financial condition and cash flow needs, and assisting the CFO with respect to managing financing relationships such that the Company will always have the tools it needs to support its growth.

Barbara has thirteen years of business experience in the financial community, most recently as an independent contractor doing business as BJP Consulting, a corporate finance consulting firm based in Anchorage, Alaska.  With Tikigaq Corporation as a client, she performed a similar function on a part time basis as she does now as a full-time employee.  Barbara became a full-time Tikigaq Corporation employee in May of 2003.

Prior to starting up BJP Consulting in the fall of 2002, Barbara was a Director with Green Leaf Ridge Company, LLC (“GLRC”), a buyout firm in Chicago, Illinois.  As a Director at GLRC, Barbara was responsible for structuring acquisitions, coordinating and executing due diligence, negotiating debt financings, working with portfolio company management teams on an ongoing basis and arranging for the disposition of investments.  Prior to joining GLRC, Barbara was a Vice President and Associate Client Manager with Bank of America (formerly NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, LLC), where she worked with a variety of large corporate clients providing the full range of corporate finance products and services.  Prior to joining Bank of America, Barbara worked for five years for the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (“NASD”) as a securities fraud investigator.  Barbara’s duties as a securities fraud investigator included sourcing cases, conducting a thorough review of trading activity, interviewing witnesses, taking testimony from potential respondents, presenting cases to disciplinary committees, and if necessary, testifying before disciplinary panels as the NASD’s expert witness.

Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at The University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration Degree at The University of Chicago.  She is a candidate in the CFA Program and has passed the Level I exam.
